Industria Mobile provides luxury and boutique hotels an elegant, efficient, and cost-effective solution for two of the most commonly requested items – cell phone chargers and universal adapters. Our custom-built Charger Box is provided to any hotel at no upfront cost, and is stocked with any cell phone chargers and universal adapters requested by the hotel. Hotels may choose to sell these items to guests, or loan them to guests to use during their stay. Every hotel is different; our goal is to work with each hotel to tailor our offering to best suit your brand and way of treating guests.
Industria Mobile was formed by Nathaniel Buckley-Wright (CEO) and Jason Haynes (COO) in March 2012. Its services are currently available to hotels in the Eastern United States; additional areas will be serviced in the future. Industria Mobile’s client list includes twenty hotels in the Boston area and twenty-two hotels in the New York City area.

What is the Charger Box?
The Charger Box is a custom-built box filled with cell phone chargers and adapters. When a guest requests a charger or adapter, the hotel would either:
Sell the charger/adapter to the guest by adding the cost to the guest’s room balance
Loan the charger/adapter to the guest and add a small hold to the guest’s room balance if the guest prefers to keep it
How much would it cost to get a Charger Box in our hotel?
The box and its contents are provided to the hotel at no up-front cost. Industria Mobile will only charge the hotel when a charger or adapter is replaced.
How much does each charger or adapter cost?
Hotels are charged $10 for each iPhone 6/5/S/C lightning cable, $10.00 for each iPhone wall plug, $7.50 for each iPhone 4/S 30-pin cable, $10 for any other charger and $3.75 for each universal adapter.
What chargers are included in the Charger Box?
This is up to each hotel. We recommend the inclusion of 7 chargers (iPhone 4/S, iPhone 6/5/S/C, HTC Micro, Samsung Micro, Blackberry Micro, Motorola Micro, and Nokia AC-3U) and Universal Adapters, which will cover the vast majority of guest requests. Chargers or adapters can be added or removed from the box at any time.
How will we get replacement chargers?
For Boston-area hotels, Industria Mobile will periodically restock each Charger Box in person (generally once weekly). Hotels outside the Boston area will use the Industria Mobile website to periodically order replacement chargers and adapters. Orders of $35 or more will be shipped for free. Tracking information for orders will be available via your online account.
What is the billing method?
Typically hotels opt to receive an invoice once monthly, with Net 30 terms. Each invoice covers all orders processed since the prior invoice. Other billing methods can be discussed.
